My phone wasn’t working when I tried to retrieve this recipe in the Wal-Mart parking lot 🙁 So I tried to buy the ingredients I thought I remembered…I got the candy corn, Bugles and pretzels correct but that was about it. Even so, my concoction included raisins, kettle corn pop corn, cinnamon teddy grahams, rice chex, honey nut cheerios, Reese’s pieces, raisins and butterscotch morsels. Not too shabby and my hubby is enjoying some right now.
thanks for the Harvest themed idea!
Annette
That sounds delicious Annette! I will have to try some of those fun additions.
Looks really good. So colorful.
Can’t wait to make this
Great !!! Thank you

Looks yummy! Do you measure anything or do you just throw it all together? Everything listed comes in such varied size bags… I’m trying not to over/under buy any ingredient. I need to make 24 treat bags for an event and this will be perfect.
I just throw it together. I’ll add a little more color with kids. A variety of shapes also adds interest. You can’t mess this up.
I apologize if my question comes through twice. I am trying to determine how many “batches” to make for a Halloween party for 42 kindergardeners. What would you recommend? I don’t have a good idea whether or not one batch would be enough. Thanks!
It depends on your serving size. I have done ziplock snack bags for the same age and got 24 out of one batch. Hope that helps.

I’ve been looking for seasonal-themed “stuff” for our residents to make…and this fits the bill perfectly! I can’t wait for them to make their “brown bowls” and fill them with whatever fixin’s they want! Thanks.
Have a great time!

Can you tell me how long it lasts? I have several things to make for a party and this is by far the easiest so I was wondering if I could make it like a week in advance and it still be good. Please let me know. Thanks so much.
If you keep it in a zip lock or air tight container, it should stay fresh. Enjoy.
Looks great! I want to make this for my son’s Halloween party. What size of each ingredient do you buy?
I usually buy a bag of each but don’t use each in it’s entirety. I mix and match based on color and texture.
