This afternoon they created a game called

Train Inventory

Here’s how to play.

Take inventory of every train piece and block by SORTING, MATCHING, and GROUPING them into various piles.
COUNT and WRITE down how many of each piece there are. (I created a printable for this below).
One person begins building a train track while the other manages the inventory. “I need a short curved piece, please.” TEAMWORK
They created a master plan for the track based on how many of each pieces remained. (MATH, PROBLEM SOLVING)
